NEW - NOTRE-DAME DU RAINCY II

Designed by Auguste and Gustave Perret and constructed in 1922-1923, this church was an early example of modular concrete architecture. The material is used in a very honest and up front manner, making optimum use of its properties. The overall design is relatively traditional, leaning heavily on Gothic and Romanesque themes. The church is located I the Parisian suburb of Raincy.
