ARUNDEL - II
Arundel Castle in Arundel, West Sussex is one of the oldest castles in England, going back to Christmas Day 1067. It was founded by the 1st Earl of Arundel and is still home to this family, now also holding the title Duke of Norfolk. The castle combines the Norman motte and bailey with a more modern quadrangle which dates mostly from the Victorian age and represents a typical 19th century romantic vision of the medieval period.
