Formerly a busy industrial area within the Rotterdam Harbour, Merwe Vierhavens is being redeveloped as a residential area named M4H. Much of the original industry has already disappeared. The remainder will mostly disappear over the coming decades. In the meantime, the area has become home to artistic and artisanal ventures.,
